Diamond Dust at Dawn
f/8, 1/800 sec. ,ISO 400, +0.33 using Nikon D750 with Tamron 150-600 mm lens Diamond Dust is water crystals that forms in the air on very cold days. It doesn't fall as much as it dances in the air. It sparkles like nothing else. In this photo the sunrise light is reflecting off the diamond dust to create the bokeh and hopefully suggest that sparkle. It was awarded 2nd place at the Dahl Mountain Culture Photo Contest of the professional/master division in 2022.
